Caminito del Rey: hotel + entrance
In the heart of Malaga there is an imposing canyon known as the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes , which you can visit through the Caminito del Rey .
El Caminito del Rey is not only a tourist attraction, but it is also a historical vestige because it was inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII in 1921.
The path or walkways extends about 3km, although the accesses include almost 5, between the steep walls of the canyon, almost forming part of the rock and that includes sections in which the adrenaline will take hold of you: narrows of just 1m or over a bridge over 100m over the river.
Starting from Malaga capital, take the A-357 towards MA-444. In the town of Pizarra you can also take the road to Álora and from there go to the El Chorro Station on the A-343. This route is somewhat longer, about 60 km, and it takes just over an hour.
